Management Accountant | Operational Finance
The Opportunity
Joining a lean, high-performing team, you will be the financial lead for NSW operations. This role bridges the gap between site-level metrics and group strategy, building the dashboards and systems that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of month-end accrual journals, P&L reports, and GL reconciliations.
- Weekly activity reporting for major customers and oversight of debt management.
- Providing financial advice to Head Office and Senior Management on site status.
- Developing and maintaining reporting tools and performance dashboards.
- Reporting revenue and costs for tipping and subcontractor-led projects.
- Driving budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure requests.
- Oversight and backup support for Payroll, AP, and AR functions.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA qualified or near completion.
- 3+ years in Management Accounting with a focus on revenue and subcontractor models.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience developing financial reporting systems.
- Proven ability to provide robust analysis that supports business decisions.
- Independent problem-solver capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
